hey, I'm Joan

I'm a frontend developer and jazz musician originally from Barcelona, now living in Osaka, Japan. I've been building web applications since 2015 and playing saxophone and clarinet professionally since 2006.

My work spans React, Next.js, and React Native, with recent explorations into AI and machine learning. When I'm not coding, you'll find me playing with jazz ensembles or capturing moments through photography.
